Learn more about how we can work together
Zac is a devoted Jewish professional and public servant with experience in education, advance, consulting, management, and event design. A student at Brandeis University, he is also an award-winning musician, prayer leader, and advocate for queer and minority students. He served as a White House Intern and Advance Associate for the Biden Administration for the past two years.
Zac’s work is about building community, deepening empathy, and leaving the world better than he found it. Through song and story, he designs bespoke experiences for prayer, conversation, and civic engagement. He believes in creating systems that empower, excite, and include. An educator at heart, Zac knows that meaningful change starts with one-on-one connections. He sees leadership as a practice of lifelong learning, deep listening, and loving the work.
He keeps his finger on the pulse of the music scene, loves baking French desserts, and makes fast friends with dogs of all kinds.
The Work
-
Zac has worked at the highest levels of government, bringing care, inclusion, and strategy to national civic life. As a White House Intern in the Office of Presidential Correspondence and a Presidential Advance Associate, he helped shape both the stories and the stages of American engagement. From crafting data-informed outreach initiatives to coordinating complex multi-agency events with President Biden, Zac’s work has always centered the belief that access and equity must be intentional—and that every person’s voice has power.
-
For over a decade, Zac has used music to nurture spiritual life and communal belonging. A classically trained musician and nationally recognized Jewish songleader, he has led prayer services, lifecycle rituals, and holiday experiences in synagogues and camp settings across the country. At Brandeis, he served as the Reform Chavurah’s Tefilah Coordinator and Hillel’s Community Engagement Chair. With his guitar in hand and pedagogy at heart, Zac creates spaces for joy, reflection, and meaning—anchored in tradition, rooted in justice, and built for everyone.
-
Zac’s leadership is rooted in radical inclusion. From founding his high school’s QUEST fellowship for LGBTQ+ student-teacher DEI training to advising national Jewish institutions on queer belonging, he has consistently worked to reimagine community through a justice lens. His consulting and pastoral care work often centers queer youth, and his public speaking—including his TEDx talk on Torah and belonging—blends lived experience with spiritual imagination.
-
An educator at heart, Zac has developed inclusive curricula, advised educational institutions, and led professional development rooted in identity, equity, and student voice. He has taught in Waltham Public Schools, consulted for synagogues and nonprofits, and designed engagement strategy for over 20 Jewish student organizations at Brandeis. Whether in classrooms or boardrooms, he believes education must equip people to think critically, act compassionately, and feel like they matter.
-
Zac is a connector, a convener, and a builder of vibrant student communities. As a four-time Orientation Leader, a student leader in Brandeis Hillel, and a campus organizer, he has created experiences that bring people together across lines of difference. His leadership style is hands-on and heart-forward, rooted in deep listening and joyful experimentation. Whether organizing events, mentoring peers, or curating space for reflection, Zac’s goal is simple: build belonging that lasts.
